About company

Project Objectives

Ivan Kupala is a distillery, which started its formation in 1998. Today the company produces more than 50 kinds of drinks based on revived Belarusian national traditions and recipes, among which are the products of the famous «Krambambula» trademark. For 20 years «Ivan Kupala» have become real professionals in their business and are ready for business cooperation with all countries of the world

Strategy

What pains does the product solve?

The Krambambula brand is one of the attractions of Belarus for «consuming» tourists. The recipe of the product with flavors of belarussian herbs reminds emigrated Belarusians and lovers of our country of their homeland. This is an opportunity to taste the Belarussian traditions.

Ivan Kupala» factory has proved its demand in the domestic market. We had the task to make the client competitive in the global market, to study the production and brand philosophy, to determine a new target audience and develop a website, which will emotionally plunge the user into the Belarusian traditions and evoke home feeling of the Belarusians

Branding and Style

Modern minimalism or traditions?

A topical and convenient grotesque font has been chosen for the site, which is simple and utilitarian. In addition, the handwritten font is used to draw attention, emphasizing Belarusian facts and history.

The shade of beige used for the background of the site symbolizes warmth, coziness, harmony, and allows you to easily navigate in the catalog. Bright color palette focuses users’ attention on important elements of the site

Website design

Tradition and emotions on every screen

«Krambambula» became a recognizable Belarusian brand due to the fact that its creators steadfastly followed the conviction to honor traditions and promote folk recipes. Through the design of the site we allowed users to touch the Belarusian traditions, the ancient summer solstice holiday Ivan Kupala, revered by our people to this day. The use of illustrations of the bison, stork, ferns, Belarusian ornaments was an additional solution in the implementation of the task.
